BLESSING BEYOND YOUR BACKGROUND
(A message by Pastor Henry Arikpo)

Text: Genesis 12:1-3

 “Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

1 Chronicles 4:9-10

“And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. 10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.”

From the Scriptures above, I will like you to know that the place or family you are born into do not mean anything to God but what matters most to God is what you do with your life. God is concerned in the fulfillment of your destiny. God has a purpose for every man on earth.

There are two keywords in these passages:

Blessing:

·        It means to prosper

·        To be comfortable

·         To live above death

·        Prosperity

·        To stand out in life

·         To be fruitful

·        multiply and replenish

·        To subdue your enemies

·         To be better than the best

·        To succeed

·        To be elevated above others or to have good people around you.

·        Blessing means being contented with whatever you receive from God.

·         It also means the fulfillment of God’s promises upon your life or the spiritual enlightenment from God that brings prosperity.

Note: Blessings can be physical or spiritual.

Your background.

Your background or foundation can be negative or positive. If it is positive, it brings support and upliftment but if it is negative, it brings problems, afflictions and curses like; (1) curse of hardship (2) curse of poverty (3) curse of pains and sorrow (4) curse of afflictions (5) curse of premature death (6) curse of non-achievement and (7) curse of delay.    

There is a close relationship between your background and the blessings you can receive because your background determines the type of blessings you can receive. Abraham's background was a hindrance to God’s blessing that was why God told him to move out of his father’s house.

I pray for you, you shall not die uncelebrated in Jesus name...

If God blesses you, you will flourish like the palm tree in the book of Psalm 92: 12-14 “The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. 13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. 14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; ”.

Most times before God can bless a man, He will tell the man to separate himself. God called Abraham out for blessings for a number of reasons:

1. He called him away from the idols of his father’s house because the idols limited him from receiving God’s blessings.

2. He called him to move away from stagnation which his father suffered.

3. For a change: a change of his background brought blessings to him. God can also call you to change your background when He sees that your background is hindering your blessing and you must be prepared to obey the call just like Abraham did. Joshua 24:1-3 and Leviticus 18:24-25

Your background means so many things to God especially when it comes to the fulfillment of the destinies of His children. That is why as a child of God you must not worship idols in any form because if you do, you will not receive God’s blessings. The reason God chased out the inhabitants of the land of Canaan for the children of Israel was because of idol worship. God hates it with perfect hatred. God wants to make you a blessing, to be above and not beneath so you must do away with idol worship.

How can you be blessed beyond your negative background?

Galatians 3:13-14 “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

1. Deal with your sins: Do away with fornication and adultery, stealing, fraud, etc because if you die in that way, you will go to hell fire. You need to repent from all known and unknown sins.

2. Throw down the altar of your father’s house.

3. Attack the testimony of such idols; never give credence to idol worship.

4. Attack the attack of idol-like hardship.

5. Pray against the power of such idols.

6. Renounce every known and unknown covenant with such idols.

7. Exercise dominion over these evil powers through the blood of Jesus.

8. Command God’s blessings to come upon your life.

9. Look for every opportunity to work for God in His vineyard.

10. Ensure you pay your tithes and offering regularly.

11. Learn to give to God's work cheerfully to provoke God’s blessing.

12. Learn to be honest about your background; realize where you are coming from and cry to God to repair your background/foundation.

13. Pray aggressively. Be obedient to God in whatever way; never have anything to do with idolatry. 

 Prayers

1.      Every satanic priest programming evil thing into my life, die in Jesus name.

2.      Any affliction coming into my life by the idol of my father’s house die in Jesus name.

3.      Ancestral problem in my life, your time has expired; die in the mighty name of Jesus.

4.      Every curse programmed into my placenta to in order to curse my children, die in the name of Jesus

5.      You my blessings that has been lost as a result of evil background; I recover you now in Jesus name.

THE SIGNATURE OF A SUFFERING MARRIAGE

A message by Pastor Kehinde Adegbolahan

Text: Matthew 6:33

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

This message is to give us some tips concerning our marriages. Whether you are married, planning to get married or you are not interested in getting married, you need this message. As a believer that is totally sold out to the scripture above. There are five things that you must jealously guide and fight for every day of your life if you are totally committed to Matthew 6:33 and if that is your vision or commitment.

What are these five things?

1.      Your salvation: Hebrew 10:39 “But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.” You must hold on to your salvation. The truth is that salvation can be lost; once you are saved, is not eternally saved or everlasting and that is why you must keep your salvation with fear and trembling every day of your life. Your salvation is very important, it is the key that will give you access to the kingdom blessings. Without salvation you are a stranger and an enemy of God. That is why the devil is targeting your salvation every day.

Ø  Being in church is not salvation

Ø  Religion is not salvation

Ø  Bearing a Christian name is not salvation but believing Jesus Christ in your heart, confessing him as your Lord and personal savior and then obeying His commandments is salvation.

Ø  Salvation is an individual thing; if you are saved, you will know that you are saved and when you are not saved, you will know that you are not saved. You must guide it very well because it can be lost.

2.     Your purpose: Your purpose is what gives meaning to your destiny. Once your purpose is lost then rejection is inevitable. You do not exist for nothing, which is why you need to discover the plan and purpose of God for your life and pursue it. If you do not discover the purpose of God for your life on earth, the devil will give you his own purpose and cause you to pursue it.

3.     Your divine assignment: You are bought with a high price to carry out a particular assignment; you are created to solve just one problem on earth just as Jesus came to this earth for one major purpose which is to save humanity from sin according to Matthew 1:21 “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Jesus did all kinds of miracles on earth and the devil did not show up all the while but when it was time for Jesus to fulfill his divine assignment on earth, the devil showed up through His disciple ‘Peter’ to stop him from fulfilling His divine assignment and Jesus became very angry. He fought and fulfilled his divine assignment. He said to Peter with a loud voice ‘get thee behind me Satan’ because He knew that it was Satan that was speaking to him through Peter and He needed to fight for His divine assignment.

4.     Your association: The company you keep will determine what happens to you and your acceleration or progress in life. You must always keep the right company, do not allow the enemy to pluck you off the right company that God has planted you in. You must jealously fight to keep that good company. For instance, if God has planted you into this ministry (Mountain Of Fire And Miracles Ministries) then you are in the right company and you must fight to keep it because there are powers that are also fighting to take you away from your place of blessings.

5.     Your marriage: God designed marriage for generational blessings. When God put you and your spouse together, He is not looking at today rather He is looking at the future.

I pray for you, all the families on earth shall be greatly blessed through your marriage in Jesus name…

Ø  Your home is divinely programed to represent heaven on earth and not hell on earth. People should see you, your spouse and children as practical heaven on earth.

Ø  Your home is established to manifest the peace, joy and power in our generation but when you look at marriages today especially the Christian homes, it is not so and the questions that borders me most times are;

v  Why is the enemy capturing our homes cheaply and easily?

v  How come some couples who were best friends before getting married are now enemies?

Ø  Jesus told us the answer to these questions in Mark 3:25 “And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.” Division is the anchor demon that can cause any home or marriage to fail and that home has what is called signature of suffering. When a man and a woman are looking at different directions, of course they will end in different destinations; that is what division can cause in a home.

Ø  As husbands and wives, the key to keep the enemy of your home outside is solid agreement according to Amos 3:3 “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”

Things That Causes Division in A Marriage:

1.      The issue of money. Our attitudes to money as Christians must be different from unbelievers and we need to be guided in the issues of money if we must be different from the world.

Guides to Follow When It Comes To Money;

·        There should be no secret between husband and wife

·        There should be no cheating

·        There should be agreed budget

·        Spend what you have as a couple and do not go into debt

·        Both spouses should not forget the source of the money. The source of your money is God and not your strength, contract, certificate, skills or your job.

I decree into your life; the money you need to make your marriage happy, receive it in the mighty name of Jesus…

2.     The issue of sex: 1 Corinthians 7:5 “Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.”

Ø  God sees sex as a tool to unit while the devil sees sex as a tool to set attacks against the children of God.

Ø  Sex is a natural need to fulfill God’s command of being fruitful.

Ø  God created sex and it must be done in a godly way.

When sex is to be restricted:

·        When a woman is on her menstrual period

·        When both spouses have a binding or mutual agreement to rest of sex for the purpose of prayer and fasting.

3.     The issue of how to handle in-laws; both spouses must see their in-laws as their own family members, accept them and love them. The in-laws also must learn to accept and love their daughter-in-law/son-in-law as their own daughter or son.

You must learn to fight against the arrows of division in your home.

Prayer

(1)   Satan get out of my marriage in the name of Jesus

(2)  Every rod of the wicked assigned against my rising up; you are a liar, catch fire in Jesus name

(3)  The rod of the wicked in the hand of the wicked, kill the wicked in the mighty name of Jesus

(4)  My father; arise and make my name great in Jesus name

                                             

Experiencing the Miracles of God
(A message of Pastor Olawole Dahunsi)

Text: Luke 7:11-15

“And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people. 12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her. 13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. 14 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. 15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.”

Luke 7 :19-23

“And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? 20 When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist hath sent us unto thee, saying, Art thou he that should come? or look we for another? 21 And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; and unto many that were blind he gave sight. 22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.23 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

Acts 3: 1-12

“Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. 2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; 3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. 4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. 5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. 6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. 7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God. 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God: 10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him. 11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering. 12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?”

STATEMENT OF FACT

1. God is the only one that can perform miracles

2. God can use a man to perform a miracles, no man have any power or capacity to do something extraordinary. No man can ascribe a miracle to his effort - Act 10 :38 says “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”

WHAT IS A MIRACLE?

1.      A surprising and wonderful event that is above man's explanation.

A man had cancer of the intestine, and after the doctors have tried, the doctors told the daughter not to spend money on the father anymore because he would die. While weeping and crying, she met a pastor friend who asked her why she was crying. The pastor went to the hospital and met the father who was at the point of death. He put the anointing oil into his mouth and after a while he began to excrete all the poisons in his body. He was made whole. It was a wonderful thing. When he went to the hospital, the doctors were amazed by the power of a miracle.

I decree in to your life, whatever has been making you to cry, receive healing in Jesus name.

2.      A miracle is an event that beats the law of nature. It is an event that is not normal.

3.      Miracle is the direct intervention of God in situations and affairs of man.

4.      A miracle is that which God dose that disregards all natural happenings.

 WHY DOES GOD PERFORM MIRACLES?

1.      To make us believe that Jesus is the son of God. A typical example is the woman of Nain that Jesus raised his son.

2.      To make us believe the Gospel

I remember a sister, she came to a church meeting and she had been suspended from work in an establishment she works, but when she came to the service of PMCH that day, she received a word of knowledge that her suspension was lifted with promotion.

 3. To validate that we are children of God.

4. For the expansion of His kingdom, I pray for you, men will see you and because of you men will come to church in Jesus name.

During one of our services, a declaration was made for people to smite the ground in the church. When a brother went back home, he saw a red-neck lizard in his room head smashed. After a while he was called from the village that his uncle was dead. When he went home, he saw the head of the uncle smashed to his amazement. Do not underestimate the power of darkness, his uncle programmed that lizard to trouble his life. 

5. To encourage us as believers. I pray for you, if you have not yet seen miracles, God will send a miracle to you in the name of Jesus.  When a man of God declares a word and it concerns you, hold it and it will work for you. During one of our services, I prophesied that to a man that he will receive a call that will change his story. Unknown to me, this man was sacked from his place of work. After a while his boss that sacked him gave his name for a recommendation and he got two times his pay from another job.

Miracles can be dramatic, sudden, unexpected, can announced you even more than what you expected. Miracles can be daily, I degree here that all through this week, you will share testimonies in Jesus name.

A miracle can be healing, protection, provision etc.

HOW TO RECEIVE THE MIRACLES OF GOD

1. Believe and have faith in God - Mark 9:23

2. Pray for miracles and wait for it. With God all things are possible. A word of knowledge came to a brother that whosoever will put him into trouble will enter into his trouble. A man went into a safe and took the money of up to 2 million and this brother was in charge of that safe. When the money could not be found, the CCTV spotted out the man that took this money in order to put this brother in trouble. This man was demoted.  

3. Give to obtain your miracles.

4. Be a blessing to the man of God. Bless the servant of God, the needy and the people around you.

 5. Make wows, pay your tithe and redeem them.

Any man of God that speaks into your life is sent for a purpose deliberately to make you succeed. Receive them.

KILLERS OF MIRACLES

1. Doubt. Unbelief is the amputator of miracles

2. Prayerlessness

3. Unfaithfulness

4. Inconsistent lifestyles   

5. Wrong positioning. if you are supposed to be in the place and you are not there, miracles might not locate you.

I pray for you that you will obtain your miracles in Jesus name, receive your miracles and testimonies in the name of Jesus - Amen

Prayer

The testimony that will make people to celebrate me, appear in my life in Jesus name.

 Oh Lord my father the miracles that will wipe away my tears, manifest in my life in Jesus name, Amen

ATTITUDE OF HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE

(A MESSAGE BY PASTOR OLAWOLE DAHUNSI)

Texts: Psalms 1:1-6

 “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish”

 Psalms 55:16 -17

 “As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me. 17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.”

Proverbs 22:2

 “The rich and poor meet together: the LORD is the maker of them all.”

Proverbs 10:4

 “He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.”

What Is Attitude?

Attitude is the disposition or the behavior of a person.  The attitude of highly successful people is the behavior you see in highly successful people; the way they see life, relationships, work and the way they see God.

 Another word for attitude of successful people is their reasoning and character towards something; how they feel or behave about what they believe.
Two young men approached a bank for loan. They needed 5Million each to start a business. The bank granted their requests. One was meticulous and careful to avoid failure. He goes for his business early and learns about the business daily, he was disciplined. After two years, the interest of the business rose to twenty million because he had a good attitude and the second person who decided to change his lifestyle after getting the five million, looking like an executive director. He goes to work by 10am daily and stays for 10 minutes; in six months the business died down because of his bad attitude and did not listen to counsel. The first person’s attitude lifted the business to twenty million profit while the second person’s attitude killed the business.

What are the attitudes that can make one successful?

1.      Successful people are highly spiritual; they fear God so much and their devotion to God is perfect. This is the first quality you will see in a successful person.

2.      They are great and positive thinkers. They think of progress. They think big and high.

3.      They develop good relationships. Anybody they encounter in life, they are mindful of the friendship they have established.

4.      They are family people: they value their family and children. They build quality family and children too. Unfortunately, so many people asked God for children and when the children come, they neglect their responsibilities to their children and allow them to go wayward.

5.      They keep developing themselves. They know that the moment you stop developing yourself, you start dying.

6.      They are men and women of discipline. They are organized, responsible and hard working.

7.      They are mindful of their health. They know that health is wealth and that when health is affected; everything about the person will be affected.

8.      They are holy, honest and honourable.

9.      They are men and women of motivation. They motivate, model and mentor others to succeed. These are the kind of people who are successful. So if you have nobody who takes you as a model or mentor, it means you are a failure.

10.   They are truthful, transparent and tenacious. They do things with all their hearts.

11.   They are good managers. They manage their family, resources and time very well.

12.   They are friendly. They fellowship and felicitate.

13.   They are helpful and generous. They give to those in need when they have because they understand that the giver’s hand will always remain on top of the hand of the receiver and that givers never lack.

14.   They are strong and very industrious. In 2 Timothy 4:2 the scripture tells us “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine” Again  Romans 12:10-11  says “Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; 11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;” So even sharing the word of God should be done with effectiveness and strength.

15.   They do not joke with information and they communicate clearly.

16.   They are men and women of good character.

17.   They study and imitate successful people.

18.   They are conscious that, there is an end to everything in life. They try to avoid sin always. Ask yourself this question; what shall my end be?

Bow your heads and talk to God.

Prayers

(a)    Powers that want to make me useless be roasted by fire in the name of Jesus.

(b)    Holy Ghost fire; revive my body, soul and spirit.
